The Blessed Month of Ramadan

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and the month in which the Qur’an was revealed. Muslims observe fasting from dawn until sunset, increase their worship, remember Allah (SWT), give charity, and strive to improve their character.

Ramadan is an opportunity to renew our intentions, practice patience, strengthen family and community bonds, and show kindness to those in need.

“The month of Ramadan is that in which the Qur’an was revealed as guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.”

Qur’an 2:185
